She was so determined to be heard that she would stand on platform railings just to be seen while performing. Her talent was recognized early, and she even had the incredible opportunity to perform the song “If You’ll Take My Jesus” on a television show that featured The Three Stooges. As she grew, so did her gift for music, and she became a soloist and part of a trio that ministered to various churches.
